Nokia telah merilis tipe 5000, dengan fasilitas kamera 1.3 megapiksel dan sebuah display QVGA. Nokia 5000 ini telah dipublikasikan di kuarter kedua 2008 dengan estimasi harga 90 Euro atau $1,145, belum tanpa pajak. Nokia 5000 ini cocok digunakan untuk entrepreneur mobile, dengan support email dan esensi keuntungan lainnya. Ponsel Nokia 5000 ini memiliki konektivitas Bluetooth plus display 2 inch resolusi 240×320 piksel. Belum ditambah FM radio, browser web dan email, plus sistem operasi yang berjalan dengan S40. Dengan harga yang murah, konsumen telah mendapatkan ponsel dengan fasilitas multimedia yang dapat memainkan file MP3, namun terbatas sebesar memory internal 12MB dan tidak ada kartu slot. Seluruh bobot ponsel mencapai 74 g, dengan waktu talktime sekitar 5 jam, dan standby 14 hari.
